The Party Doll Marina was established in 1959 by the Mielke Family.
Originally the site was on the East side of the Wolf River at the current site
of Fort Fremont Marine. In 1967 the present property was purchased to add more
room for mooring boats. From that time on, the property has been improved every
year by adding docks,
landscaping, and constant maintenance.
Rick and Gloria Mielke still own and operate the Marina in addition to the houseboat rental operation associated with Party Doll. One or both of them are on the property at all times during the summer. For that reason, you will never be dealing with absentee land lords when you become a customer here.
The property is a park-like setting consisting of manicured lawns with shade
trees. The office is open 7 days a week from May I to October 1. We have shower
facilities, a coin-operated washer and dryer, and full service gas dock. The
store offers soda, snacks, marine accessories, and friendly service! We own and
operate a 25-ton marine hoist and have inside winter storage and shrink wrap
available.
